The Marketing Check List

Here is a simple check list for those of you who want to see some positive, measurable results from your marketing efforts;

1) Are you "speaking" to the right audience?

2) Is the any genuine reason why your target market should buy from you and not from your competitors?

3) Is this reason powerful enough to persuade them to switch?

4) Do you have a unique proposition that will "shout" louder than your competitors?

5) Do you currently have a structured, pre-determined marketing strategy or do you rely on Ad-hoc reactive campaigns?

6) Do you have an online presence that reinforces your message and accurately reflects your business offering?

7) Is your website well written and have an effective call to action?

8) Have you developed a Social Media strategy for promoting your business?

9) Do you have a SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Time based) marketing strategy?

10) Are you worried about your competitors? Are they working with/for the sort of companies you want?

 

Some of these questions may seem very basic, but it is surprising how many businesses do not have a structured approach to their marketing efforts.
