Cylinders2Go, is the UK’s leading online retailer of hot water tanks, supplying to trade and general
public, domestic, industrial and marine cylinders.

They have been supplying hot water for over 30 years and specialise only in the supply of British-made, copper and stainless-steel tanks. Aside from expert knowledge, they also offer unbeatable prices and speedy, efficient delivery.

The Challenge

We were initially tasked with a brand refresh to provide the business with a more modern look and feel, which naturally needed to be applied throughout the design and build of the website. They wanted a strong brand identity that also represented value for money making it accessible for both the general public and trade customer.

Website Design & Build

In keeping with the new branding, the website needed to appeal to a variety of customers so needed to be clear, concise and easily navigable, with quick links through to product pages. The main purpose of the homepage needed to highlight their key product range and next day delivery, combined with a strong call to action to increase phone call enquiries. As enquiries was the key driver, a chat bot was installed on the homepage along with the integration of Google Reviews to add authority to the brand.

Pay Per Click & Shopping

We had historically used a combination of PPC and Google Shopping campaigns for Cylinders to go resulting in meeting revenue targets month-on-month. Following the brand refresh and new site we felt it was the perfect opportunity to make some small but significant changes to increase potential revenue.

We replaced the Shopping campaigns with a Smart Shopping campaign and a series of Search campaigns based around the top converting search queries, and the queries that drove the most revenue. As a result of this, the business had their top two performing months of sales in Q3 of 2019 and continues to grow year on year.
