Liberum Paradiso is a premium swimwear brand which launched in the Spring 2018, with its signature range the Alexander collection. Designed and founded by Luke Walker, he wanted to create a men’s swim short with a difference.
Quintessentially classic in design, yet contemporary in style, a short designed for comfort, he wanted them to look and feel great in and out of the water. The range currently consists of a variety of colourways, with plans to expand further in year two.
We were perfectly placed to assist with this brand launch as our services are tailored around start-up and SME business, to support through launch and growth. We offer a professional and affordable approach during these early years, without compromising on the quality required to launch a premium fashion brand.
Platform81 were approached by Liberum Paradiso to help develop a brand, ready for the effective launch of the signature collection, with the flexibility to scale for the launch of new collections as and when required. The brief included a range of required elements such as development of the website, launch marketing materials and ongoing digital marketing activity including social media management and website optimisation.
The website needed to be a reflection of the brand; stylish, luxurious and modern. The website was custom designed to appeal to the target audience with strong calls-to-action through GreenSock animations, lifestyle imagery and video content. This was all balanced alongside making it as intuitive as possible to checkout, as with any ecommerce website, this is always the focus.
We assisted the brand with a six month launch campaign across social media, building an audience specifically on Instagram and Facebook to communicate the ‘Liberum Paradiso Lifestyle’ and premium nature of the brand to its key audience. We also implemented a paid strategy to utilise Instagram and Facebook as the main sales/influencer method to drive sales and drove 75% of all traffic to site in the launch period.
From the fabric through to the presentation box you can feel the quality in every fibre. The challenge was representing this without a tactile experience. We approached this with an image first strategy. The whole aspirational experience is built around striking lifestyle photography, supported by stylised product photography.
We helped support Liberum Paradiso in the successful launch of their first ever collection with a brand new ecommerce website and supporting social media activity. During launch period we helped them acquire a social following of over 2k followers attributing to 75% of overall traffic and 30% of sales as well as securing a high profile ITV2 TV Personality as a brand influencer.
