Meet the Team: Craig

SCROLL

We’re very happy to welcome our new Social Media Manager to the P81 team. A self-confessed music anorak, cinephile, and Liverpool fan (very much in enemy territory), Craig brings over a decade of content and campaign managment into the fold.

Nickname: Never had one, because I have a boring 2 syllable name people normally just mash it into one word.

Age: 34 (and beginning to feel every second of it)

Lives: Chester, absolutely beautiful except for when the races let out!

Office: Stockport

Loves: Nerdy Film School Cinema, Collecting records, cooking, 90s-early 00’s arcades, and literally any sport.

Hates: Passive Aggression and Mint Sauce.

How long have you been working at Platform81? 8 days (as of writing)

Quickly sum up a day in the life of a Social Media Manager: Being a Social Media manager is such a balance of creativity, project management, and problem-solving, so at the risk of sounding cliché, no two days are the same.

What would you be doing if you weren’t working at Platform81? What any other self-respecting out-of-work thirty-something creative would do; start a twitch stream and a podcast. (Too real?)

Describe your dream holiday? My actual dream holiday was last January when I went to Tokyo, but I suppose I’d love to travel through Europe and get to as many football grounds as I can.

Favourite food? Pizza is the food of gods and I will fight anyone who thinks otherwise.

Talk us through your perfect night out… Good drinks, good company and a DJ who knows his stuff.

Perfect date? April 25th; Because it’s not too hot and not too cold, all you need is a light jacket.

Describe yourself in 3 words…
Dry, Silly, Dork.

Tell us about your most embarrassing moment? When I was 19 I was DJing in a nightclub (humble brag) and I dislocated my knee mid-set. No one realised until the music stopped, and I had to be carried out of the booth.

Finally, what’s your guilty pleasure? As someone who’s into some pretty naff and antwacky stuff I don’t believe in them!
