Urban Splash are an award winning regeneration company creating exceptional places to live primarily in Manchester but also throughout the UK. They work with a number of digital agencies however Platform81 have recently been appointed to work across four of their regeneration projects in Manchester, Birmingham and Sheffield.
Our PPC and Paid Social Media teams embarked on a multiple phase strategy for the four projects back in July, which plan to span all the way through to the New Year. The main aim is to generate awareness and viewing enquiries for the remaining plots on their Park Hill, Avro, Port Loop and New Islington projects.
PPC Manager, Rachel said: “Our main challenge was to cut through the noise in what is an extremely competitive industry, coming up against the likes of Rightmove and Purple Bricks. Search terms in the property market are highly competitive however we needed to make the Urban Splash USP’s really stand out amongst the crowd.”
“We focused on only showing ad copy that was specific as possible to the properties we were trying to sell including “house prices from” and the USPs that make the brand unique and different from everyday estate agents bidding online.”
We focused on quality of conversions over number of conversions, which was classed as capturing potential home buyer’s contact information via an online booking or information request, and therefore found the conversion rate to property reservations was higher than previous campaigns which used a wider cast net.
