Platform81 has been shortlisted for the Stockport Business Awards 2016 in the ‘Business of the Year (up to £1m)’ category.
Organised by local accountancy firm Clarke Nicklin, the awards aim to celebrate, showcase and reward business excellence in the region.
Now in its fifth year, the Stockport Business Award winners will be announced at a gala dinner on 13th October at Stockport Town Hall.
Nick Wroe, Director at Platform81, said: “We set up our business in Stockport nearly 9 years ago because we had confidence in the region and what it had to offer. We saw a real opportunity to work with other like-minded local companies to help them achieve their growth plans through the development and delivery of bespoke digital marketing strategies.
“We are very proud to be a Stockport business and the whole Platform81 team is delighted that we have been recognised in this way. We’re up against some stiff competition in our category, but we’re very proud to have made it this far. We look forward to celebrating, whatever the outcome, with all our fellow shortlisted companies in October.”
Andrew Baggott, Managing Partner at Clarke Nicklin, said: “We were very impressed with the quality of entries this year, and I think the shortlist is a fantastic representation of the cross-section of great businesses we have in the area. Judging wasn’t easy, the competition was really tough, but it was also really enjoyable and we thank the other judges for giving up their valuable time to take part.”
