Facebook was founded in 2004. The first tweet was sent in 2006. Even Instagram has been around for 6 years. This stuff can’t really be considered ‘new’ anymore but we still speak to clients who are getting lost in the jungle of tweets, likes and pins.
Social media has the potential to grow your business more than any other form of marketing. Done right, it can attract & engage your target audience, promote your products and spread the word about your brand. If you’re not taking advantage of at least one platform, you’re at serious risk of missing out!

Video sharing platform YouTube gets a huge 30 million visits every day. The majority of active YouTube users are aged 35-44.
Around 106 million professionals log into LinkedIn every month. Quarter of users are aged 18-29, with the majority (61%) aged 30-64.
While it’s popularity is increasing amongst men, the majority (81%) of Pinners are women.
The majority of Instagram users are aged between 18-29, with a slightly more females using the platform.
With over 100 million daily users, the power of Snapchat for marketing can’t be ignored. If you’re looking to target a younger audience this is the perfect place to start, as it the most used social media platform amongst 18-24 year olds.
