Community is Key with Stockport County

We may have recently moved offices and no longer be around the corner from Edgeley Park, but that hasn’t dampened our support for our local team. From building their first independent site in 2017, to a redesign in June this year when the club embarked on a new chapter, we’re thrilled to announce our latest launch of the Stockport County Community Foundation website.

The Stockport County FC Community Foundation offers children, the elderly and those with disabilities the chance to be part of a local, caring community. The Foundation help engage children and adults in structured, safe, fun and developmental activities throughout Stockport and the surrounding area.

“We are always pleased to be working with Stockport County and this time it was no different.” Says Caroline, Head of Operations at Platform81. “It was great to work with the Foundation, and to learn more about the charity and the fantastic things they offer. It was an honour to get to know some of the amazing team members playing a part in the Foundation, and we’re extremely pleased with the result of this new site.”

The website for the Foundation required a bespoke booking form to allow parents to book the various programmes available for their children. The gallery on the website was also built to allow Stockport County to share photos of specific events separately, as opposed to accumulating all images together in one large gallery. This helps the Foundation truly showcase what they do and the difference they make in a more structured, organised and visual way for their users.
