Why can't I just use an online logo maker? It seems much cheaper.
A: You can, but it’s a bit like comparing a Pot Noodle to a proper Sunday roast. Those online tools spit out generic icons and fonts that thousands of other businesses are probably using. What's your process for designing a logo? Do we just give you an idea?
A: It all starts with a good chat. We kick things off with a proper deep dive to get under the skin of your business, your audience, and your ambitions. We want to know what makes you tick. From there, our designers get to work on a range of initial concepts. It’s a collaborative process from start to finish – we don’t just disappear and expect a ‘ta-da!’ moment at the end.
How long does it take to get a new logo designed?
A: We don’t rush creativity. A full logo design process, from our initial chat to you getting your final files, typically takes between 2-4 weeks. This gives us enough time for the important stuff: research, developing different creative ideas, and bouncing feedback between us to refine the designs. A quick job is rarely a good job when it comes to something this important.
What do we actually get at the end of the process? Is it just a JPG file?
A: You get the whole works. We’ll supply your new logo in a full range of file formats (like EPS, SVG, PNG, and JPG) so you’re covered for every possible use, from putting it on your website or social media to getting it printed on a massive sign or the side of a van. You’ll also get it in full colour, black, and white versions. We make sure you’re armed with everything you need.
How much input will we have? We're worried we'll get something we don't like.
A: You’ll have loads of input – it’s your logo, after all! We see it as a partnership. You bring the expert knowledge of your business, and we bring the design expertise. We have dedicated feedback stages built into the process, so you can share your thoughts and we can make sure the final design is something you’re absolutely chuffed with.
What if we don't like the first designs you show us?
A: No dramas. The design process is a journey, and the first concepts are all about getting the conversation started. Sometimes seeing what you don’t like is just as useful as seeing what you do. We build rounds of revisions into our process, so we’ll take your feedback on board and go back to the drawing board to tweak and refine things until we nail it.
How do you make sure our new logo won't look like someone else's?
A: Everything we create is 100% bespoke and starts with a blank page. We don’t use templates or recycled ideas. Our designers do their homework to see what your competitors are doing, not to copy them, but to make sure your new identity stands out and is unique to you.
