Background
My journey in digital marketing began a decade ago as a content writer. When a former manager pointed out that my articles were ranking exceptionally well, it sparked a deep curiosity about how search engines work. That initial interest quickly evolved into a passion, leading me to fully transition into the world of SEO.
Over the past ten years, I’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of businesses grow their organic traffic to achieve their commercial goals. I operate on a strict principle: organic traffic must serve a tangible business purpose. I don’t believe in chasing vanity metrics. For my clients, my goal is never to just be their “SEO person,” but to act as a fully-fledged marketing partner they can trust and rely on.
Role at Platform81
As the SEO Lead at Platform81, I am responsible for driving the organic search strategies for our diverse portfolio of clients. My day-to-day involves:
• Crafting bespoke SEO campaigns,
• Conducting in-depth technical audits,
• Translating complex data into actionable insights.
I work closely with the wider digital team to ensure that every SEO strategy we deploy is closely aligned with our clients’ overarching business objectives, ensuring we deliver meaningful, conversion-driven traffic rather than just empty clicks.
Outside of Work
When I’m not digging into analytics or optimising websites, I love spending time with my family, heading out on adventures both locally and abroad. I am also deeply passionate about astronomy and spend a fair amount of time in my backyard contemplating the night sky. To recharge and disconnect from the digital world, I enjoy taking long, quiet walks through nature and local forests.
