Background

When I was younger, I never expected to end up working in the marketing industry. When looking at university courses, Digital & Social Media Marketing stood out because it combined the things I had enjoyed most at school – research, creativity and strategic thinking.

After finishing my degree, I joined Platform 81 as a Junior SEO Executive with very little digital marketing or SEO experience. After finishing my degree, I started my role as a Junior SEO Executive at Platform 81 with very little digital marketing or SEO experience, but since then, I have developed my skills and continued to grow in my role thanks to the support of the team here.

Role at Platform81

As an SEO Executive, I spend my time working across a range of websites across a variety of industries, helping to improve their visibility in search engines and support their overall online growth.
My day-to-day work includes keyword research, on-page optimisation, content development and technical improvements, all focused on helping websites perform better in organic search.

Outside of work

When I’m not working i enjoy spending time with my friends and family – especially if it involves going out to eat or getting a coffee. I like spending time in the kitchen, making meals or baking when I can. My ideal day involves going to the gym or for a walk, followed by a coffee in a local cafe before going home and getting cosy with a Netflix series or a book.
