Background

I’ve always been interested in technology and how digital platforms are built. What started as an interest in building websites gradually evolved into a wider passion for the technical systems, infrastructure and processes that power modern businesses online.

Over the years I’ve worked across a wide variety of projects from marketing websites to complex eCommerce platforms and custom integrations. Along the way I developed a strong interest in the technical strategy behind web platforms: how they scale, perform and remain secure as businesses grow.

Role at Platform 81

As Web Director at Platform 81, I lead the web department and oversee the technical direction of our web offering.

My role focuses on ensuring we deliver high-quality, scalable solutions for our clients while continually improving the way our team works. This includes setting development standards, shaping our technical stack and supporting the team to deliver complex projects efficiently.

I work closely with our leadership team to align technical decisions with the wider business strategy, ensuring our web services continue to evolve alongside new technologies and industry trends.

Outside of Work

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family and getting out on the golf course when I can as well as playing Padel as much as humanly possibly.

If I’m not doing that I’m thinking about food.
