We are County: The Next Chapter and a Redesigned Site

We are Stockport. A city in size but a town in nature. And as proud Stopfordians and also sponsors of the team, we’re thrilled to announce the new redesign of the Stockport County website, in line with their next chapter.

In their latest video announcing this next step in the Hatter’s journey, us Stopfordians are described as having a ‘unique community spirit that believes in the power of togetherness’, and this couldn’t be truer when it comes to our work with the club.

Based just a few minutes’ walk from our office in Stockport, we first began working with the team at Edgeley Park ahead of their 2017/18 season by designing, building and launching a new site for the club.

Fast forward to now in 2020 and with a new owner, the club is embarking on its next chapter at Edgeley Park, describing it as an evolution, not a revolution and building the future whilst reserving the past. As a result, it was important for our team to redesign the club website to be in line with the look and feel of the new crest and brand, whilst also maintaining the club’s historic colours.

The new website has been simplified from a usability perspective on both the desktop and mobile site, which will provide an ease of use to those fans, sponsors and other supporters using the website.

P81 Founder Nick said: “It’s a great time to be involved with Stockport County, and working closely with the new owners to refresh the design of the website and introduce the new brand to the fans has been an absolute pleasure. Once football gets going again after lockdown, the future is bright for County and it’s a privilege to be involved.”
