Not One, Not Two, But Three…

We’re delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for not one, not two, but THREE MPA Inspiration Awards!

Yes, you heard us right, we’re up for the hat trick! In October the P81 team will be heading to the Midland Hotel in Manchester to attend the next MPA Inspiration Awards. From creative agencies, to photographers, digital trailblazers, PR folk, freelancers, media-owners TV and radio production… this is an awards event like no other.

That’s why we’re proud to say we’ve been shortlisted for…

Digital Agency of the Year (up to 25 employees)

Nick Wroe, our Managing Director said: “We’ve spent the last 12 months developing the Senior Management Team to ensure that we can further develop our key service offerings of digital marketing, web, branding and graphic design through innovation and creativity. The key to our future success is having a team who are all pulling in the same direction and are passionate about delivering the very best for our clients.”

Gary Mawhinney, our Technical Director said: “We really feel Platform81 should win this award for its unwavering commitment to delivering high impact digital marketing campaigns for a broad range of clients, for continually expanding its in-house skills base and service offering, for supporting its local community and charities close to its heart, for investing in its people and creating a working environment they can be happy and productive in.”

Big Bang

This category is for work completed that achieved exceptional, quantified results against clear objectives with a spend under £50,000. We’re so pleased to say that our digital work with M.Hughes & Sons has been shortlisted for this award.

“I am so pleased with Platform81 and all the work they have done to get a site that works for me and my company. I had limited experience with ANY social media and was not a fan, but this was clearly the way to go! I’d been working on a trade basis for years, but it was my goal for over ten years to make this work for the everyday customer in Wales – that’s why when we hit 1000 orders, I headed straight to their Stockport office with a bottle of champagne and of course some strawberries!”

Matt Moree, Business Owner, M.Hughes & Sons

and finally… Apprentice of the Year!

This award is for an apprentice that has excelled during their first year within the business and made a positive contribution to the business overall and our very own apprentice Jenny Byrne has been shortlisted.

“We believe Jenny should win this award as we think she deserves not just the recognition from Platform81 for her hard work and ambition but also from the MPA. She shows maturity, confidence and work ethic well beyond her years, and over the past 10 months has become an integral part of the team whom we can all rely on for support. She has time and time again shown her dedication to her apprenticeship and learning by going above and beyond by volunteering to help or take on any task that she is presented with.”

Amanda Childs, Head of Social Media at Platform81
